Catherine's Palace

I made this piece about the illusory nature of power, no matter how entrenched it seems. I made it after reading John Reed's first-hand account of the Bolshevik revolution in Russia, Ten Days That Shook the World. The building itself is a composite of the Winter Palace and one of Catherine the Great's chapels in Saint Petersburg.
